Pouches!

I am really excited about these little pouches! They are my "green" contribution to my sewing. They can all be seen in the shop!

I designed these bags from my leftover bits that I normally wouldn't use. Even the interfacing is scrap! The zippers are Vintage ones that I rescue from estate sales and thrift stores. (you wouldn't believe the collection of zippers I have!)

Some of the bags will coordinate with previous hexipuff bags since they are made from scraps from those bags, but some are from scraps I have had in the bin for awhile that has totally been needing some attention. (like the Amy Butler Daisy Chain below)

All the bags can be seen in the shop!

Hexipuff Handbag

Shop the project bags!

I am so excited about my new design! It has tons of pockets (inside and out!) and it's so easy to carry! This particular fabric is so happy and summery!

I kept the flat bottom of the bag of the original bags. I LOVE this design feature!

I added exterior pockets and handles. The handles have an 8" drop so it's easy to carry on your shoulder.
Also, I added an additional 3 pocket that was divided into 3.

The exterior pockets are the PERFECT place to keep your hexipuffs in progress!

I am hoping to get another made tonight in a brand new fabric! <3

Butterflies, Hummingbirds and ZOMBIE BUNNIES!

Hexipuff project bags that is =]
I love Zombie Bunnies!
I have been sewing much more than I have been knitting lately, which is good for you! I ended up making 3 new bags. My favorite is the little zombie bunnies! So cute, squee!

My second favorite is the Hummingbirds!

The Butterflies are just too sweet!

These bags are fantastic on their own as a wristlet, you don't necessarily need to be a knitter to enjoy them! I am personally using one a quick bag for my wallet, phone and coupon book when I have to go to the grocery store. Perfect!

In other news, EVERYTHING is blooming around here. I hope to take pictures tomorrow! Below are my Azaleas, aren't they nice?
